Talking to Myself-Setting up a Live Stream, Get ready!
Life happens. S*** happens. Time passes by fast. Two weeks went by fast. And I didn't even realize it.
Epiphanies happen.
Guess what? I have decided that I want to Live Stream video games. Weird? Perhaps.... Nah. I'm doing it. I've been setting up my stream, and set up my channel.
My internet sucks. But I'm still going to do it. I'll work on making my stream better.
Next problem: What the hell am I going to play? I have no idea whatsoever. The time I decide to stream is the time where there's a bit a of a drought in games to play. Maybe I'll play some old games to start.
And my schedule is a bit hectic this week. When can I stream? Whenever I can. Follow me on Twitter for live updates.
It's happening, guys. And I'm not going to stop. I just need to find some games to play..... (>.>')a.

Study the Past Ep 4-Massive Old Art Dump! :3
Do you see how bad I am with this stuff?
Okay, okay. I know I've been stalling and taking my time with this. So I decided to dump whatever old art stuff I could find on my various 1GB-4GB memory cards, flash drives, etc.
My old art stuff varies from photography, sculpture, paint, drawing, ACEO, crochet, you name it. Some are good, bad, great, meh, but this is me sharing my past work with all of you wonderful people.
Now, I'm not going to post everything here all at once. So if you want to take a tour of most of my old stuff right now, go ahead and visit my flickr account:
But if you don't feel like it, go later, or just wait for me to post them here.
Or if you are interested in any of my old work, and would like to request any sort of commission, or just want to comment on any of my stuff, leave a comment, or send me a message!
Enjoy!

Omnomnoms and Yummies Ep 1- Kazoozles!
Wonka has outdone themselves with this one.
Okay. First of all, if you haven't tried these. Go, find a pack, and TRY THEM!
I introduce to you: Kazoozles (pronounced kuz-OOH-zuhls). There's cherry punch flavor, but from what
I hear, there is also Pink Lemonade flavor, which I haven't found, but want to try.
You may be luckier than me with finding these. I literally went on a quest--a candy venture--to find these treasures. Only one place that I know of around here sells them. And at this moment, I cannot go on Amazon and buy myself a box of these things. Because if I could, I would buy a million of them.
Now, if you don't know what they are from the pictures, they are basically softer twizzlers with stuff in the center that is like a marchmallow-y, super sweet tart-ish sort of filling.
"Well what does it taste like?" you may ask.
To me, this comes to mind:
Orgasm in your mouth, holy sh**, a unicorn dancing, pooping rainbows on your tongue.
Sounds odd, but if you love candy, try these for yourself, and tell me what came to mind.
For someone like me, candy (especially hard candy) is something I tend to avoid. But this... This candy... I now declare is one of my top candies in the universe. And that's saying something. I shall savor every bite of this candy until I get another one!

Study the Past Ep 3-Yarn Bombing!
I love crocheting, knitting, and yarn bombing!
This was a recent group project for one of my classes--Spring 2013. We turned a trash bin into a hazmat barrel with ooze, slime, tentacles, and eyeballs coming out of it. Each person did a part of the piece. I did the tentacles, eyeballs, and the top part of the barrel.
I would love to do more of these projects, but it takes a bit of planning and work. I'll probably just look for some local yarn bombers (if there are any events being planned) and see if I can work with them.

Talking to Myself Ep 3-Why do we play video games?
I know, you've heard or read about this. Maybe because after another fun weekend of playing FFXIV: ARR Beta Phase 3, I'm already getting gaming withdrawal and I feel like talking about it.
So why do we play video games? Video games have so many genres. RPG, JRPG, Beat-'em-ups, hack and slash, RTS, FPS, MOBA, MMORPG, and a bunch more.
Maybe it's a hobby--you play at your own leisure and enjoy it. Or maybe you make money from playing video games. Yeah. Some of this stuff's competitive. Or maybe you are one of the completionists who revel in their wall of achievements and trophies.
For me (and maybe some of you), I play for the immersion. At first, it was somewhat of a hobby for me. But after meeting my bf, and being introduced to JRPG's and MMORPG's, I fell in love with games--and how you could get so easily lost in some of the good ones.
Playing for the immersion is fun, but you gotta keep that in check.
Easier said than done...
On another note:
from what I've been hearing FFXIV:ARR is "what you would get if FFXI had a baby with awesome". I never played FFXI, but hearing that, I can see why the hardcore followers of FFXI (and FFXI itself) has lived on for this long. Keep going Square, that game has promise.
Take this with a grain of salt! Hiyah!
Picture was found on Google image search. Controller ornaments :).

Study the Past Episode 2-3D Digital Sculpture
Here's an old sculpture that I made a while ago. It's a griffin. I love Griffins. I know, I didn't finish the wings, but this and another sculpture I was working on got lost in my old PC. That PC died a few years ago. Shame on me for not backing up my files :/.
After not looking at this sculpture for a while, I realized how much fun I had with 3D modeling. I am probably going to plan a few 3D modeling projects in the future.

Studying the Past Episode 1-Drawings
Just made a new Flickr account! Posting pictures from the World of Ms Adventure! Art, Photography, and much more!
I was searching for a good quote about history/the past. And I found a pretty good one from Confucius:
"Study the past, if you would divine the future."
The main reason why I was looking for one is because I want to share with all of you my past works in art--be it drawing, painting, 3D art, ceramics, crafts.... anything that I've made. And in looking back at my past work, it is a great reminder of what I've done in the past (achievements and mistakes) and what I have learned/can learn from them. I also wanted a catchy title for this series :).
And that's why I made a flickr account for all of you to see! I wanted a central hub for the pictures that I post here and much more that I would like to share.
So stop by and take a peek the Museum of Ms. Adventure on Flickr! I'll be adding more as I go, so follow me!

Talking to Myself Episode 2-Learning, changing, persevering
Remember!
This is just my opinion, my feelings, my thoughts. Praise me, judge me, love me, hate me, like me, follow me, get inspired, and or read it just because you’re curious. Just take it all with a grain of salt!
Hardships…
After making the decision to self-promote and commit, I find it ironic that things decide to start crashing down. And at the times that you least expect it, they usually do. But that technically means that you (in this case, me) let your guard down; you became lax in the work that you’re doing; you got comfortable—too comfortable.
Perseverance…
In this day and age, you can’t necessarily do that (unless you’re one of the lucky ones)—you have to keep moving; to keep going. Others may berate you and lecture you. You may have an emotional breakdown or get mad or whatnot… in my opinion, that’s okay. It’s your very own way of realizing, learning, and accepting the circumstances. But once you’re done with that; once you accept the very thing you are upset about, move on! Continue what you were doing! Don’t stop! The worst thing you can do is give up and never pursue what you want to do for the rest of your life.
Time…and Effort…
All things take time. Getting what you want in life takes time and effort. Make an effort in everything you do. Keep yourself busy by being aware of not only your surroundings, but yourself as well. Don’t get too comfortable! Challenge yourself. Work your brain. And if people come at you and want to bring you down to their level like a crab in a bucket (go ahead and google crab effect if you don’t know what I mean), don’t let them. But in time, you will begin to see results. In time, through your hard work, you will reach the part in life where you want to be.
Simply put: Don’t give up, persevere, believe in yourself, don’t get too comfortable, be consistent, don’t let other’s stop you from what you’re doing, and ultimately conquer whatever it is you want to do in life!
***In other news: I got my beta key for FFXIV:ARR on Friday morning. Played through Friday and Saturday with my bf. Amazing. I had so much fun, despite minor difficult quests here and there. But other than that I enjoyed it. I was hoping to play today, but they cut the beta short for this weekend *SAD FACE* WAAAAAHHH :C. I was hoping to take some screenshots of my character.
More updates on FFXIV:ARR next weekend. And maybe some screenshots of my character (don’t want to break NDA and get banned for life. Safety first!)

Talking to Myself Episode 1-Honing my Skills
Took a little trip to the Library. Time to hit the books!
Just in case you didn't know, I like to consider myself a "Jack of All Trades". You can see that as a good thing or a bad thing. For those who don't know, the complete saying/phrase goes: "Jack of All Trades, Master of None." That's why like the word "generalist". Doesn't sound as cool, but it feels more fitting.
Anyways, I would like to get better at the things I'm good at (or at least I think I am). So I stopped by one of my local libraries and went book hunting. Yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking: "There's something called Google. Use it." And sure, I've used Google, and it helps; but I love books, they're awesome; and there's nothing better than learning and getting information from a good ol' book.
I enjoy photography and I have great cameras that I rarely use. And since I vowed to put more pictures in my blog posts, I figured that becoming more familiar with photography and seeing how/what the professionals do to get the pictures they get. For now I'm gonna be reading up on some digital photography and digital art (photoshop and whatnot).
So let's see what I can learn from them! Hopefully there are some tips and tricks that will make a difference.

Gaming! Episode 2--E3 2013 Press Conferences
Yeah. Console wars. All I can say is: "Jerry! Jerry!".
***I'm not a professional critic. I am entitled to my opinion and so are you. Feel free to take it with a grain of salt. I don't want to nitpick every little thing, so I'll just make my point; make it as general as possible, and be done with it. Minor Spoilers for those who didn't watch the events up until now.
Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Sony, and Nintendo have finished their Press Conferences and have announced their upcoming titles.
Games revealed include (but not limited to) Watch Dogs, Tom Clancy's: The Division, Destiny, Deep Down, Forza Motorsport, Gran Turismo 6, Mirror's Edge, FFXV (Previously titled FF versus XIII), KH3, and many, many more in a loooong list that I plan to buy/watch...or who knows, eventually live stream :D.
Props for Nintendo for trying to hang on for as long as they can. I know they said that they didn't have anything new to reveal. They played a pre-recorded video. Yeah. The announcement for the new Super Smash Bros. (3DS and WiiU) and a few other titles... That's it.
Putting that aside, now for the main event: Microsoft VS Sony. The juicy stuff that will be talked about for a few months.
Holy Cow. Sony has some major cojones to pull off what they did. Hit after hit, they just refused to stop going after Microsoft. But you know what? I applaud them for it. They know who their true followers are; their core audience, and what those people want.
Now, don't get me wrong (and me being the nice/optimistic person that I am...), Microsoft can still get it right. But they need to get their s*** straight before I even reconsider my (and many others') decision on not purchasing their product(s).
Anyways, that's my blah blah blah's on that. Remember! It's just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt!
Oh! I forgot to mention. If you didn't read my tweet yesterday, It's true. I screamed and jumped up and down like a kid on a sugar high when they announced KH3. First time I did that in a while. Square Enix knows what they're doing.

Now with pictures!
Old picture I took a few years ago…
Okay. I’m learning as I go.
So I figured that in the age of youtube and instagram and whatnot, the majority of people nowadays are more visually inclined. What I mean is that most of us prefer visual (and auditory) stimuli over others—e.g. pictures (or videos) over words.
This isn’t a bad thing. It just means I have to post more pictures; which means I can make use of my cameras more often. (:
So, whether I take some snapshots, or use some of my old stuff, or just take it from the internet, most of my posts will now include pictures! Yay!
Also! Today is the first day of E3! I think I’ll wait until everyone has done their presentations, and I’ll post my thoughts.

Gaming! Episode 1
One post after another! Bear with me here, I'm trying to catch this blog up with the Tumblr posts I started yesterday.
I’ve always wanted to get this blogging thing going. And in procrastinator language, the term “eventually” comes to mind. “I’ll blog eventually…”. I mean, I could never figure out when to start, because I had no idea what to say or talk about. But I figured now was a good time.
Why?
Because! It’s all in the timing. And right now, especially in the video game department, there is so much going on.
E3 is in a few days! Yuuuup. Who isn’t excited about that? Especially with the new, upcoming era of consoles and the major fanboy war that comes with it. PS4 vs. XBox One. Who’s gonna win?
And…
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (FFXIV:ARR)! Yeah. Some of you may know the disaster that was version 1.0. But I think that their comeback is quite promising. But playing ARR closed beta (phase 2) on one account with my bf was surprisingly fun, yet excruciating. So, I am waiting for the next few days; hoping for that email from Square Enix, the one with a beta code, so I can quest, and gather, and craft to my heart’s content. So here’s to me crossing my fingers in high hopes for a beta code!
/crossfingers
What to expect!
Hey there!
I hope you like the changes to the blog. I've done a few tweaks here and there, changed some of my links--Follow my Tumblr! For the most part, it's the same posts on there, but I'm just expanding my possibilities.
So… goals. I want to set some regulations down for myself and all of you, so here goes.
My 1-2-3-4-5 Formula
This is an idea that I made, each being a minimum goal for me for each week.
- One art/craft project- Be it a design, 3D art sculpture, drawing, crochet, anything that I enjoy doing that has to do with art/craft.
- Two photography photos- Any photo of me, or any random picture I choose to post.
- Three other social media interactions- Including (but not limited to) pinterest, stumbleupon, etc.
- Four Blog Posts- self-explanatory
- Five Tweets- self explanatory
Why a Formula?—Commitment. Writing plans down helps out. A lot. Because I have learned that, for someone like me, I need a solid plan before going through with it; so I don't burn out.
***NOTE!: I set this formula for minimum goals on a weekly basis. So don’t expect just the amount I set. Lots can happen in a week. So expect more!
Also! I am hoping to graduate to vlogging and making videos for YouTube. And Live Streaming! But that’ll be discussed when the time comes.
Okay! Enough of my blah blah blah’s. Let’s start this mo-fo! Follow me! Starting at level 1; Pallet Town; Newbie INCOMING. Okay… See you next post!
Getting back into gear. Change is coming!
Welcome!
Where to start? Hmmm /ponder…
I don’t want to start this with my boring, sad, already-done-before-but-in-a-different-way life story/narration—that’ll be for a later post. Let’s start on a good note! :D
Follow me on my adventure on art, video games, anything that I feel like sharing with you in my life. I know you don’t know much about me (I don’t know much about myself), but I hope that all of you will follow me and watch me grow and improve my life.
Welcome! Come with me and explore the world of Ms. Adventure!
